Managed Recovery

When injury or disability does occur, the ability to quickly assess the degree of function deficit and the impact to performing work is critical in managing the early return to work process. BTE’s Functional Capacity Evaluation (FCE) brings continuity and integrity to the decision process by utilizing the same measurement technology as in the assessment of job demands to measure the residual function of the employee post injury/disability. BTE’s FCE network of clinics is found throughout the United States and Canada and is managed by BTE’s centralized operations in Greenwood Village, Colorado. TherAudit™, BTE’s recovery tracking system, optimizes the ability to objectively track the progress of physical and occupational therapy programs against the baseline measure of the FCE and determine at the earliest point, when an individual has reached the functional restoration required by the job and/or when the benefits of the therapy program have been maximized.
